What did you inherit?

Pick the closest match. The questions and the reference notes change with the answer — a coin is judged on entirely different things from a record.

Coins

Jars, folders, proof sets and the odd silver dollar.

Do not clean the coins. Any of them. Ever.

Stamps

Albums, glassine envelopes, and shoeboxes of loose stamps.

Do not soak, peel or lift stamps off envelopes.

Sports cards

Shoeboxes, binders and wax packs from the attic.

Do not laminate, tape, trim or write on cards. Ever.

Vinyl records

Crates of LPs and 45s, usually from one person's listening life.

Do not wet-clean records with household products.

Comics

Longboxes, usually bought new and stored since.

Do not fold, roll, or press comics flat under weight.

Paper money

Old banknotes, silver certificates, and foreign currency from travels.

Do not flatten, iron or press folded notes.
