What you are buying
A triage report: an informed opinion, from photographs, about what is in a collection and what to do next. One payment, no subscription, no commission.
This is not an appraisal
It is an informational estimate and we say so on every page that carries a value. Its job is to tell you what is worth paying a certified appraiser to examine in person. For most collections the honest answer is nothing, and knowing that is worth something too.
What we can and cannot know
A photograph cannot show condition properly, and condition drives most collectible value. Where we are not confident, we say so and decline to give a number rather than inventing one. Ranges are wide because the truth is wide.
We never buy
We do not buy, sell, broker or refer. If anyone contacts you claiming to be us and offering to buy your collection, it is not us.
Your responsibility
Decisions about selling, cleaning, grading or keeping are yours. We give you the information and the reasoning; we are not your agent and we are not liable for what a buyer pays you.
Refunds
If the report is unusable — wrong collection type, photographs that clearly were not examined — email us and we will refund you. If it simply told you the collection is ordinary, we cannot: that is a real result and the one we most often deliver.
